US Arts & Design Irvine campus will be having six special Summer camp programs, starting from late June, and on through July. (See the following flyers for the specific dates of each program.)
Our “Summer Kid Camp” will have a Hawaiian theme this year, and will include brief lectures on art history, concept development through sketching, stencil making, printmaking, and clay sculpture. It will also include a field trip to Bowers Museum, and a final potluck celebration. The first five children registered will get the field trip for free!
“Digital Arts Camp” will include a survey of important techniques and software that will enable children to unleash their creativity with relevant experience towards animation and character design.
We will also offer two-class packages for “Figure Drawing”, led by our Studio Art teacher, Brian Kinnaman. This will be a great chance to get a crash course in figure studies, with a teacher specialized in figurative art. Brian studied at more than six different art schools, including L’Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, Italy, as well as with the renown figurative painter, Yu Ji, at CSU Long Beach.
